With the vibrant theme “Seasons and Festivals”, our tiny champions lit up the field with energy, colour, and joy on 26th January. From lively performances to cheerful races, it was a beautiful celebration of culture, rhythm, and sportsmanship at Mount Index International School — where every child shines in their own season!

Our campus came alive with energy and enthusiasm as we celebrated National Sports Day with inspiring activities — from a sports quiz, speeches, and role-plays of legendary athletes to fun games and fitness affirmations by our Sports Captain.
The day not only honored Major Dhyan Chand but also reminded us of the true spirit of sports — discipline, teamwork, and fitness.
The Annual Sports Day is an eagerly awaited event in any educational institution.
It provides an opportunity for students to showcase their athletic abilities, team spirit and sportsmanship. At Mount Index International School the annual sports day was conducted and it lasted for 3 days with a range of sporting events, inter-house competitions which were both fun and challenging.
On the final day the special guest was Mr. Arjuna Ranatunga, Mr. Ranatunga, is a former Sri Lankan cricketer and politician, who was the 1996 Cricket World Cup winning captain for Sri Lanka. He is regarded as the pioneer who lifted the Sri Lankan cricket team from underdog status to a leading force in the cricketing world.
